Black Riot – A Year In The Life (V/A)

Black Riot Records is the tougher brother of one of the go-to labels in the world of Disco, Midnight Riot Records. On the Black Riot side of things it all about House music and many of the varying styles that revolve within it from artists and producers from all around the globe.

The best way to find out what a newly discovered label is all about, is to go check one of their compilation albums (if they have one of course) so you can get a true feel of what the real deal is with it’s sound and that’s precisely what can be done with Black Riot’s first ever compilation album.

‘A Year In The Life’ is the first ever compilation album from Black Riot, as it has been it’s first year in existence and marks something of a ‘best of 2017′ release for the imprint. 20 tracks are featured on this hugely impressive House album with acid, funky, soulful, jackin’ sleazy Disco and 90’s flavoured tunes aplenty. A few artists on this must have acquisition include Northern Souls, Hifi Sean, Daft Funk, Saskin & Kellini and Goldboy. House music lovers, this one’s for you!

We’re very much looking forward to a 2018 with more music like this from Black Riot!
