Dome-French Collection LP

Dompe releases his LP ‘French Collection’ on the 6th of June. Get ready for some seriously good funky house music!

The album kicks off with the warm basslines and shuffling beats of ‘Frencheese: before transitioning into the bumpy NYC grooves of the S Man style’ Lemon Ice’

‘Spliff’ sounds like Dompe’s productions for Snatch! Records and would definitely go down well at a Defected event.

‘Smiling Vibes’ truly lives up to its appellation with sunny filtered disco on the menu!

‘Pinky my best friend’ is a Garage House groove seemingly made for a Riva Starr DJ set with a slick nod to French House.

‘Sunday Movement’ turns up the soul element for a full on four to the floor boogie.

‘Sputnik’ (which you can hear above) is the Saturday night to ‘Sunday Movement.’ Bright nights, 70s boogie a la Chic. This one has to be earmarked for the next time there’s a Glitterbox event going down!

‘We Love It’ and ‘Chicago’ both revel in the plucky basslines and snappy beats that gave birth to House music and ‘Hot’ rounds off the album with a classic piano house tune that screams early 90s in all the best ways. Get ready for this sensational album from 04/06/21
