Drumattic Twins – U Gotta Step Into (Toast & Jam Recordings)

As a massive fan and longtime lover of Breakbeat, I have been in the camp with those that believed that Breakbeat never died. Things did get a little weird for a while and things seemed to fracture which cause some to splinter one way, some the other and others in a different direction. Over recent times though and especially over the last few months, the Breakbeat stars appear to be aligning with artists who’ve never left the scene stepping up their games and artists we’ve wished would make a return, make a return, just like the mighty Drumattic Twins have done!

That’s right folks, Drumattic Twins are back with a brand new slab of Breakbeat that has all the hallmarks of being one that plenty of DJs are gonna turn to when we get chance to hit those dancefloors again. Out now on Toast & Jam Recordings, U Gotta Step Into offers a nod the duos Shades of Rhythm days as they lay down vintage rave piano and a soulful vocal over chunky and solid broken beats with the filthy and bass-face destroying breakdowns being very much all about the Drumattics! Let’s keep our fingers crossed folks and hope they have more ravey Breaks goodness like this up their sleeves!

About the Author

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
