Escape Everything [Majestic Casual ]

Pioneering label, brand and tastemaker, Majestic Casual reaches a new milestone with a huge 54 track mixed artists compilation of chilled electronica

Founded in 2016, Majestic Casual is a label, brand, You Tube channel and tastemaker. Among its many achievements is breaking artists like Disclosure and the milestones continue with this 54 track LP of turn on, tune in and chill out tunes including 13 brand new exclusives

As for the overall vibe, it’s forward thinking with a Tropical feel multi tempo Bass, Lo Fi and alternative Hip Hop bliss perfect for the morning after or just a lazy day

But let’s mention a few highlights such as the very Disclosure like ‘Monday’ by Hanz with its unusual rhythm and cinematic piano. LUCASV evokes soulful boogie in space odyssey fashion with ‘Drive Slow’ while Jack Cates takes us down by the ‘riverside’ with heavy Hip Hop beats and gorgeous acoustic guitar.

Also on the light, trippy future soul tip is Craves ‘Got 2 Know’ and the post Dubstep Skye Chai ‘Beyond’

For more lush Lo Fi broken beats, check out the wistful Zaini ‘305’ (feat. dhan) and the melodic slo-mo Trap of dennis ‘Relax’ (feat. Aníbal)

Other highlights include the aquatic off kilter sounds of Ikotu ‘Halved’, the excellent Indie Dance track by Kidnap ‘Moments’ (feat. Leo Stannard), the warm, experimental, almost beatless jazz of Metome ‘Wanderring Gohst’ and the Aphex Twin meets R&B synths of Cameragrammar ‘Netflix and Chillwave’

Many compilations lay claim to being immersive experiences but this album really is. Get your copy from all good download stores and streaming sites 31/01/2020
