Monkey Twerk are Adriana and Frank, a married couple from Colombia who both share a passion for spreading good vibes only with music, whether that be in their production work or when they’re out DJing. They decided up sticks and head to Canada to make a new home for themselves a while ago now and it was while they were DJing one night that Fort Knox Five’s, Steve Raskin, discovered them and their sound whilst he was on tour himself.

Steve was instantly hooked on the eclectic global vibe they were spinning at the time and it didn’t take too long before he realised they would be just perfect for FK5’s ‘Funk The World’ mix series. The invite was handed out and gratefully received by Monkey Twerk and here we have the results of their work with volume 44.
