UK based FireFarm have been delivering their Rock and Rave fuelled Breaks sound to crowds at festivals and on dancefloors for over a decade now and all who have crossed their path know just how heavy their sound hits! Should you need a heads up of the kind Breakbeat the trio makes, prepare to feel the force of ‘Walls’ which is the first single off their forthcoming album ‘Rave Against The Machine’.
FireFarm’s new track ‘Walls’ does come with a politically charged message and although we always stay clear of such things here because we want to deliver good times only, it does fuel the angst of the anarchic Punk infused Breaks with that unmistakable underground rave twist. Accompanying the release of the new single is a couple of equally heavy remixes. The first of those comes from Breakbeat legends Pyramid and although they’ve tamed the raucous Punk traces of the original, it still has their signature tearout sound stamped all over! Psy Breaks/Psy Trance producer Unconcious Mind(s) is next on remix duties and with elements of those styles woven throughout his take on the original, the ride is a little more cosmic, but still as wild as both tracks that have gone before. This is Breakbeat for those who like it a little harder!
