  • Electro-Swing (aka Swing House) is one the coolest new sounds out there. It’s basically NuFunk, only a bit housier (…?). Only kidding, it’s clearly very distinct as a genre in it’s own right.

    It samples music that is generally pre-funk, i.e. 30’s, 40’s, 50’s jazz and sounds like the bastard love child of war-time jive and Bob Moog, conceived in a Soho record shop in the 80’s over an SSL mixing desk with everything turned up to 11.
