  • First cited in ’97, Glitch Hop is a subgenre of glitch. It borrows (steals) elements (samples) from classic hip-hop records. Often not full vocal parts, but frags. Then it just runs them through a tool called, oddly enough, “Glitch”. It’s basically tech-breaks which ironically was never cool. But somehow Glitch hop is uber cool, like star wars geek and Numa Numa guy.
