The Minirigs team have come up trumps once again with their ongoing mix series and after pulling out all the stops, they’re over the moon to present us with this brand new guestmix from the mighty Freestylers!
As you might expect, The Freestylers new mix is packed with a heavyweight selection of breakbeat and bass house music, both new and old. Their mix kicks off with some dark and dirty breakbeat with old-skool influences rife before hitting a bass house interlude that takes us to a more raw as f*ck Freestylers sound that leads us onto a flourish of classics by the duo to finish. Whilst there is no tracklist to this mix as yet, we can tell you that a couple of the new tracks include a new Pirate Jams vs The Freestylers track and a forthcoming Freestylers & Plump DJs collab that was finished just before this mix was recorded. If you’re looking for a cure for the self-isolation blues, you’ve just found it!
For those who are unfamiliar with Minirigs, they’re a Bristol-based maker of top-quality portable speakers. Their speakers have become very popular with festival-goers and if you’ve ever found yourself wandering through a field in the early hours of the morning and someone’s tent is rocking, there’s a very good chance that Minirigs is powering that party (along with some decent class A’s!).
