With award-winning albums under his belt and having worked with legends such as Z-Trip, Souls of Mischief and Masta Ace in a career that has spanned almost 30 years, you can be 100% sure that Marc is someone who knows where the good sh*t is at!

After a listen to all 21 tracks on ‘Funk N’ Beats, Vol. 7′, you can clearly hear that Marc must have been in his element when choosing the music to compile what has turned out to be yet another essential album to add to your collections. With his encyclopedic knowledge in full effect, you can expect to hear rediscovered classics sitting alongside future classics and while there is plenty for the die-hard lovers of Funk to fully immerse themselves in, there’s also plenty for those who are just after some good-time party music with a funky and positive vibe.

Volume 7 is packed top-to-tail with heavy-hitting artists from the Funk scene, a few of those being Mr. Scruff, Jazzanova, Quantic and his Combo Barbaro, The Allergies, The Nextmen, Shaka Loves You, SoopasoulX-Ray Ted and of course Marc Hype himself. Also found on the album are two tracks that have never been available to own on a digital format before. They are Voodoocuts super soulful and brass-toting track ‘The Fool’ and The Traffic‘s intriguing and intoxicating instrumental take on ‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’. To top things off very nicely, you can also own a full DJ mix of the album by Marc when you hit that ‘buy’ button. There’s a whole lotta funkin’ goin’ on here and we love it!
