Future Breakz: Breakbeat Ascension

Future Breakz presents 20 tracks of essential, upfront breakbeat hardcore from the likes of Al Storm, Fracus, Darwin and more!

‘Breakbeat Ascension’ is a digital compilation every breakbeat hardcore lover should own. There’s something for everyone from classic early 90s style tracks to Hardcore/Jungle/DnB Hybrid bangers aplenty!

The album begins with a trip to 92 via Darwin’s ‘Every Heart Beat’, combining R&B vocals with the timeless formula of pianos and hoovers with that ragga rave vibe! Jack In Box pushes the tempo right up into Andy C territory for the insanely uplifting ‘My Heaven’, full of passionate vocals, classic piano riffs and 95 hardcore riff attacks.

Al Storm invites us to ‘Getaway’ with 95/96 inspired euphoria-core, crunching amens and enough good feels to fill an arena! More on the 94/95 tip is NP Source’s rushy ‘So High’, a track reminiscent in ways to JDS and Sunshine Productions.

Darwin brings the stomp with the bittersweet pop vocals and pounding kicks of ‘Can’t Stop You’ coupled up with a dash of bouncey techno stab n’ thump. Back on the 92 tip, Gaz Fracus’ gets us ‘Burning’ with a melodic slice of Jungle Tekno with modern production flourishes all over the place. Al Storm seriously ratchets up the BPMs for a classy bit of UK Hardcore with Diplo influences.

Darwin & Jack In Box take the evergreen piano hook from ‘Sweet Harmony’ and turn it into a truly amazing slice of UK Hardcore/DnB with gorgeous vocals and absolutely deserved crossover appeal. Jack In Box aims to get your hands waving until they’re sore with the anthemic ‘Luv Attack’, we’re talking powerhouse diva vocals, elements of house music and a whole lotta epicness!

Jack In Box (who features heavily on this comp) reworks the ‘Sounds of Eden’piano into an absolute stomper of a tune, perfect for Hardcore raves and DnB moshpits alike. NP Source covers Justin Beiber and makes an utterly superior cover version with super-filthy bass!

AL Storm takes the roof off with ‘Night Moves’, a rabble rouser of a tune packed with enough energy to run the national grid for the next year! You won’t be able to resist a singalong to the dreamy ‘Holding On’ N P Source, a literal ray of sunshine!

Angerzone & Jack In Box inject a bit of junglism into the tough, ethereal ‘I Choose You’ as does Chris Ross with the hoover laced ‘Waiting.’ Angerzone mixes up 90’s soul with uplifting rave on ‘You Won’t Have To Worry’, Jack In Box smashes the amen breaks and rushy keys on ‘It’s You Everyday’ and Deeper Territory drop a lovely slice of funky DnB ‘How To Shine.’

Darwin slips in another Manix circa 92 style roller with the ecstatic and utterly brilliant ‘The Only One’ and Jack in Box closes with the Techstep and happy piano combo of ‘Everybody Knows’

Reasons to feel good? You bet! Grab this incredible comp right now!
