Just when you think you’ve listened to Gorillaz 2001 hit ‘Clint Eastwood’ reworked every way possible, along comes Official Nancie with an edit that’s gonna blow your mind, which is something the Singer/Songwriter/DJ/Producer does on a regular basis with the music she makes and plays.
The first third (roughly) of her barnstorming edit definitely gives the impression that this track means business with a tough House stance, but two thirds in and things really take off with a fat bassline that drops in and will shake, quake and break the ground beneath your feet. The intensity that was there from the get-go drives that track on to the end with more of that filthy bass ever present.
