Jalapeno Records – Rock The Disco V/A

If you’ve only ever managed to catch music from Jalapeno Records here on LSM, you’d be forgiven for thinking that it’s a label who only deals in high quality themed compilation albums. That is far from the case though as they release singles, EP’s and albums from it’s incredible roster of artists on the regular. The reason we bring you compilation albums from Jalapeno, is because it gives us chance to cast a net over the whole roster and bring you a healthy snippet of music from these artists who are all currently on top of their game, which we then hope means that you guys and girls go investigating them all further.

So, as many of you will know, Jalapeno Records is at the forefront of the explosion of the new wave of Funk, Soul and even Disco, that’s taking over the airwaves across the world. It’s the latter of those three styles where the sole focus lies this time around with ‘Rock The Disco’ a 20 track album that sees us catch up with Jalapeno after another successful lock-in in it’s vault, handpicking Disco tracks that all have that dance floor ready feel. They’ve come up trumps big time too because you can expect to hear music from a star-studded cast including Dimitri From Paris, Smoove & Turrell, Kraak & Smaak, Basement Freaks, Moods, Izo Fitzroy and many more. Whatever it delivers music wise, you can be sure that Jalapeno Records always has the goods!

Buy ‘Rock The Disco’ here on Bandcamp.

About the Author

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
