Jalapeno Soul Sisters Vol. 3

Featuring 15 tracks of show-stopping music, Jalapeno Records presents ‘Jalapeno Soul Sisters Vol. 3’.

Once again the UK based label directs the spotlight firmly on the soul sisters of its bountiful roster including Izo FitzroyGizelle Smith and Alexia Coley and guest artists such as Laura Vane, Sarah Scott, Dena Deadly, and Sitzka for the third instalment of its stunning album series. Several of the tracks feature high-class funky beats from some of the gents of Jalapeno’s roster, but I’m sure they’ll agree with us that the magic takes place when the ladies step up to do their thing.

With something for everyone on the tempo front, the selection of Funk, Soul and Disco inspired music contains a mix of classic cuts from the archives and fresh new music. One of those new tracks just happens to be the brilliant album opener and brand new exclusive ‘Slim Pickings’ by the incredible Izo Fitzroy and thanks to the killer groove, sparkling brass, big bass hook and Izo’s distinctive and super soulful vocal, it kicks the album off as it means to go by delivering music that’s very much of the feel-good variety and we love a bit of that!
