Having reportedly been fed music whilst in his mothers womb, Mexico’s, Groovenaut, is now setup and ready to go full steam ahead into music production and let all of the influences he’s harnessed along the way, out and into his music. He has in fact been doing that since 1986 as a DJ, but like so many other DJ’s, the want to drop and get a reaction from his own piece of music became something he just had to do and experience.
From what we’ve found on Groovenaut, this free edit of Jamiroquai’s ‘Little L’ appears to be his first foray into putting his own spin on classic and well known tracks. Now even though I’m a massive Jamiroquai fan (more so his early stuff), I’ve got to say that I do prefer Groovenaut’s edit over the original. There’s still plenty of Disco going on, but it’s more refined and brings with it a much cooler and grown up groove while still remaining a must for the dance floor. It sounds like we’re in for some real treats from Groovenaut in the future if this edit is anything to go by. Get following and stay tuned for more!
