JMMSTR‘s ‘B-Boy Soul Edits’ EP series has fast become one we look forward to hearing new from with great excitement. 8 tracks across the previous 2 volumes have delighted all who love strictly soulful tracks, but with a funky B-boy twist provided by JMMSTR and now on volume 3, there are another 4 tracks that will take pride of place in your music collection!
The first track, an edit of King Floyd‘s 1970 number one hit ‘Groove Me’ and the last track, an edit of Millie Jackson & Issac Hayes red hot ‘Sweet Music, Soft Lights & You’ are both set at the downtempo end of the scale, but there’s plenty of funk and groove to be had from both. The 2 tracks found in the middle are a couple of much more uptempo B-boy edits of music by one Mr James Brown and no one will need telling to check those to beauties out because the intrigue levels will already be sky high and rightly so as you’re gonna hear.
