Kosheen – Hide U (Senses Of Mind Edit)

Senses Of Mind are a double-act from Belgium who makes Techno that will either leave you feeling warm and fuzzy, or wide-eyed and wired. Even though they’ve only been together for a year or so, they’ve released some really impressive original music on labels such as Steyoyoke, Awen RecordsLabyrinth Music and SMTC Underground and they have their own free series of tracks titled ‘Artificial Experiments’, but over recent times they’ve been putting their magic touch to some of the biggest dance classics of all time!

With huge edits of ‘Saltwater’ by Chicane and ‘We Come One’ by Faithless already under their belt, Senses Of Mind’s most recent and equally huge edit of ‘Hide U’ by Kosheen is the one we’ve decided to use to showcase just how good these guys are. Taking a melodic Techno approach to their edit they create a massive amount of intrigue and suspense with their production work and use Sian Evan’s beautiful acapella sparingly, but to great effect also. The intensity builds every step of the way and by the end, you’ll be feeling that! If your headphones are handy, pop them on, lose yourself in this edit and then go and get lost in the rest of the music Senses Of Mind have to offer.

I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to.
