It has been a fair while now since UK Breaks producer KWeRK released any new music and with that fact on his own mind, he recently released his two-track ‘Atomic Energy’ EP on Australia’s Rump Shaker Records. With both tracks hitting hard thanks to his distinctive whompy Breaks sound, they’re undeniably aimed at the peak-time hours crew. ‘Atomic’ comes across as the more intense track of the two, in part thanks to the eye-rattling bass that’ll have you heads down as you get your stomp on proper. ‘Your Energy’ is very much a hands in the air kinda tune, this time thanks to a female vocal hook, an old skool piano hook and more lashings of bass, albeit not as fierce as the first track.
Let’s hope this new music has lit the inspiration candle in KWeRK and it continues to burn bright!
