Leeroy Thornhill – The Calling EP

Leeroy Thornhill returns to Get Hype Records with his second EP on the label ‘The Calling’. Boasting 5 monster tracks, this EP contains music that has been created solely to destroy dancefloor’s wherever they land!

Leeroy brings 2 brand new tracks to the party, the first being the title track of the EP and when this nasty slab of Breakbeat drops, it drops in a big way and takes no prisoners in the process! ‘Vibrations’ is the second track and although there’s a futuristic feel to the track, Leeroy’s old skool influences are a presence throughout.

The next three tracks are a trio of remixes from Bladerunner, who cranks up the ferocity with his D n B take on ‘The Calling’. Next up is Night Shift with his remix of ‘Vibrations’ and he too heads down the D n B route, with extra filth added thanks to the ridiculous amount of bass he’s managed to squeeze in. Rounding things up very nicely indeed are rave legends Shades Of Rhythm who have also remixed ‘Vibrations’ and their Breakbeat twist is as fully flavoured with old skool tweaks as you would hope it to be.

Hats off to all involved on this one. Great music and even greater times to be had now it’s out there for us all to dance to!
