Wobble&BlackArt follow up on huge tunes like their ‘Jungle Tekno’ with another floor packing 90s rave cap tipping banger ‘DMT’
We’re almost at the midway point of this 10 track extravaganza and Shuski weighs in with the dubby ‘Lou Walk’ suceeded by a fiery Tech slammer from label stalwart, Waitz ‘One Two’
We get shades of the funky disco house sound thanks to Ben Sterling‘s excellent ‘Hardy’s House’ followed by the trippy acid fueled Drew Moreland & Pat Hickey ‘Limousine Carpet’
Fancy Inc & San Schwartz put in some acid tinged bassline powered ‘Overtime’, warming us up nicely for the massively fun off-kilter Techno action of S.M.I.T.H ‘Drop In This’
All good things must come to an end but at least they can come to a good one and Maxine Garman‘s ‘Control’ is a great way to close out ‘Let’s Get Shanghaied Vol 1.0.’ Another tough thumper on the Techno side of the spectrum with a real hypnotic aura. ‘Let’s Get Shanghaied Vol 1.0’ is easily one of the best House music VA’s of 2017 and the only sensible thing to do is go and but a copy!
