So as we’ve just kicked off with the Life Support Machine podcast once again this feature is now going to be every 2 weeks. We’re very sure though that the hours of music and the quality of it will see you through and we have no doubts some of the mixes will get more than one spin! It’s a 50/50 split this week with half the mixes from myself and half from Fifties, so let’s get cracking…

Fifties collection :
Mini Da Minx (Funk / Electro-Breaks)
On the biggest festival weekend of the year, or little lady with the big balls is taking Glastonbury by storm. This feel good mix starting with some fun time funk and progressing to some electro breaks is perfect sunshine weather. Let’s hope it’s a dry one folks!
Tim Toil – Beat-Herder 2015 Promo Mix (House / Breaks)
Sticking with the festival theme, here is a promo for the small but mighty Beat-herder festival (17th – 19th July). With an epic line up this year including Basement Jaxx, Parov Stelar, Plump DJs, Freestylers and Mr.Scruff, it is set to be quite a weekend! Mixed by the main man Tim Toil this will give you a flavor of the diversity that is to be expected.
Fifties: – Collywobbles (Tech-House & Breaks)
More twisted than a neurotic pretzel, here is a new one from me taking a walk on the darker, more prog side of things plus the usual curve balls and classics for good measure! Starting off with some chunky tech and progressing towards some breaks, I have an EXCLUSIVE play of the new remix by the aforementioned Mini Da Minx. It is a track called ‘Power’ – the original by a lady called Debbie D with an all female panel on the rework (Mini plus Stormie HighSmith, DJ Keri and Moejo La Fay). Turn it loud and get on your best bass face!
BXentric – Snap Crackle and Pop (Nu-Disco / Deep House)
BXentic is a jolly nice Welsh man residing in London producing melodic, feel good house and nu-disco. This is a live set recorded at London club night Snap, Crackle and Pop throwing regular parties at the Egg, XOYO, and the East Village. Expect floaty grooves meandering along though streams of piano and uplifting vocals.
Collo – Club Classic Vol.3 (House)
100% Classics – Expect piano house, oldskool and rave of the highest order! Hopefully this mix from Leicester’s Collo with take you on an enjoyable trip down memory lane with his latest installment of his popular series. Listen on mixcloud for blasts from the past from the likes of Orbial, Moby, Jungle Brothers, Deep Dish and more …..
So there’s your collection of music for the weekend. We hope it keeps you smiling all the way to next Friday when we have, Dan Isolate in for the Life Support Machine podcast. Rave safe everyone!
