‘Bad Enough’ starts in thunderous fashion with hammering breaks and an apt ‘out of control’ vox. The intensity furthers with a grinding Techno bassline, sirens and added crunchiness! We get some lush Luna C pianos and plenty of madness as this manic slice of musical fun progresses.
‘Atomik’ flips the 91/92 sound on it’s head for some seriously scrappy hoovers, spraycans and hyperspeed breaks action. Think you’re hard? You want some do ya? This track is tough as nails yet uplifting, when those dark riffs kick in, boy are they dark!
‘Dumpling Business’ piles on the heavy duty hardcore techno stabbage, bleeps, deep rumbling subs and amen breakage. There’s an experience era Prodigy vibe to this badboy. a nice vocal kicks in with melodic pianos to balance things out nicely. It;s the classic dark vs light formula of 91 rave updated nicely for 2018 and it sounds even better!
‘Get Away’ brings the tempo down just a touch for a proper oldskool soundclash that calls back to the 92 sound of Rhythm Section, Terrorize et al. A blend of ruffneck riffs and rushy piano that feels like the golden era all over again, great stuff!
