Midnight Riot Records is one of the go-to labels for all your Disco needs. The imprint has amassed a huge number of releases (both digital and vinyl) since it’s inception back in 2012 and continues to be at the forefront of a scene that always delivers joy to the dance floor.
As well as releasing many artist EP’s, Midnight Riot also put together compilation albums themselves, which sees them reach out to their favourite Disco producers from all around the world and uncover future classics in the process. The most recent of these compilation albums is the third volume of their early 80’s inspired ‘Roller Boogie’ series.
On this occasion, 17 peak-time skating jams have been selected to help propel you along with whatever you maybe doing. A few of the artists to be involved with this superb offering of Disco include Dr Packer, Luke Solomon, C Da Afro, Kellini, Al Kent, Los Charly’s Orchestra & Omar and a collaboration between BB Boogie and the legendary Leroy Burgess. With all of the tracks sounding so good though, it’s an all killer, no filler kinda deal, so get those skates on and go make ‘Roller Boogie Volume 3’ yours.
