German label, My Techno Weighs A Ton, is one that is dedicated to providing hard hitting, outside of the box sounds for the dance floors of today. They stay away from the commercial EDM side of things and don’t release to much deep/melodic music either, but what you do get from them is cutting edge high-powered party music ranging from Techno to Tech House, Bass music and even Jackin House, with some Ghetto House weapons as well.
The label itself has recently celebrated it’s 5th birthday and the MTWAT crew have chosen to go large by dropping their hefty new album ‘100’ which represents the number of releases over the 5 years since the birth of the label. The compilation is a highlight reel of some of the most played and most charted releases from the label since day one. Such a birthday for a label means that they’re not just bringing us 10 tracks, or 20, but 30 in total and they’re all heavy hitters and they’re all yours for free!
