House & Electro

N-joi – Anthem (Mike Mac Remix)

Having grown up on a diet of early Electro and Hip Hop, it was House music that really grabbed the attention of UK producer Mike Mac. Since he started spinning tunes all the way back in 1992, his progression in the music world led him onto producing his own music which went on to be released on labels such as Simma Black, Shanghaied, Whartone and Dirty Lemon Records and be supported by heroes of his including MJ Cole, Mark Knight, Sam Divine, Annie Mac and Shiba San to name just a few.

Following on from those impressive names comes an impressive piece of music which clearly states why so much support has come Mike’s way. His remix of the 1990 classic ‘Anthem’ by N-Joi takes on a tough Tech House guise whilst still keeping the essence of the original firmly in its heart. Smiling faces and hands in the air will be the result when you dish this out in your sets!

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
