Romano Gemini created Nu Blends way back in 2013 and since then he’s gone on to make it a label that’s essential to the Nu-Funk/ Funky Breaks scene. As well as being a very accomplished beat-maker himself, Romano has compiled a huge number of EP’s and albums that features household names and newcomers to the midtempo family and the music, well, you’re gonna get to sample some of that right here with ‘Nu Blends Compilation Vol.16‘.
The latest Nu Blends compilation comes complete with 14 free tracks with edits, mashups, remixes and exclusives galore! Funk plays a major role on this album, but there’s a plentiful supply of Hip Hop and a touches of Soul, Disco and Vintage Swing also. As mentioned, there’s a few recognisable names on this superb album that we’ve brought you before, but there’s plenty more that are new to us and maybe you too, which can only mean it’s time to go hunting for new music, once you got your fix of ‘Nu Blends Compilation Vol. 16’ that is!
