Jack Rafter & Albt collab on ‘The Lair’, you will recognise some familiar oldskool hardcore/jungle samples on this one (Dee Patten ‘Who’s The Bad Man’, Red Alert & MIke Slammer ‘Ganja Man’). The whole track has a 90s slant while retaining a thumping techno feel at the same time, one for the MIami ravers!
One of the most original producers on the House scene, Matt Mclarrie contributes the atmosphere rich, almost early house like ‘Ghetto Leeches’, a track that adds subtle builds right through to the end, extra percussion, interesting spoken word samples and a depth and deepness not normally associated with tech house, proof that deep and tech can go together and sound amazing!
Man of the moment, Menesix provides the upbeat funky sway of ‘House Tripper’, another track with strong mid 90s influences from the diva vocals, Bel Biv Devoe samples and sassy big room vibes.
Ryan Shepherd returns to the (One)fold with ‘Mr Brigante’, an Al Pacino sampling slammer with addictive basslines aplenty and busy jackin’ beats.
