The Pointer Sisters – Don’t Try To Take The Fifth (Uncle Ted Edit)

When Russia’s Uncle Ted is releasing new music, I can’t wait to hit the play button to hear what magic he has conjured up in one of his spell-binding edits and his latest one, a spin on The Pointer Sisters’ 1971 Soul classic Don’t Try To Take The Fifth, has me grinning from ear to ear once again because of what I’m hearing. Full of summery zing, the Funky Breaks based edit retains all the Soul-fire provided by The Pointer Sisters and makes for one of those listens where you just have to keep going back for more listens. Highly addictive and brilliant!

About the Author

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
