Pulpfusion – From A Kid To A Man – REMIXED

Following on from the blockbusting Breakbeat music found on his From A Kid To A Man album that was released back in February of this year, Pulpfusion is proud to present us with the Remixed album! Onboard are some of his favourite producers from the scene who have all stepped up and delivered their A-game with a wide variety of Breakbeat influenced remixes.

Joining the likes of Ursula 1000, Sonale, Quincy Jointz and Omegaman with their impressive remixes are Outcry, who opens the album in riotous fashion with a Rock infused Big Beat remix of Put The Pedal and The Funk Philosopher who heads back to his Glitch Hop roots with a filthy and bass-heavy remix of Moby’s Sick. Pecoe’s hitting up Blind Passenger with an ultra-chunkula Breaks makeover while Rory Hoy and Old Flame crank up the fun and frenzy with their remixes of From A Kid To A Man and Put The Pedal.

Pick of the bunch for me though on the Remixed album goes to Leygo and his Drum and Bass remix of Dream Of You. Opening with the strong female vocal from the original, Leygo builds the intensity beautifully before the drums and a damn fine bassline kicks in to take the track places it never thought it would go. If you’re a Breaks fan who is checking out this album, make sure you share this one with your DnB friends to ensure legendary status is bestowed upon you!
