Razor-N-Tape – Chill Cuts Vol. 2

Razor-N-Tape is a Brooklyn based label that has been running for a good few years now and because of that, it has a seemingly endless amount of must listen to music in its back catalogue of tracks and mixes! The music the imprint is all about is Funk, Soul, Disco and Afro driven House and Breakbeat and with so much to go at, it won’t take long before a good few hours are lost in a world where everything is golden. With much of the music on Razor-N-Tape being the type to pack out a dancefloor, it does also cater for those who love there music chilled to perfection and that’s exactly where we’re heading with its compilation album ‘Chill Cuts Vol. 2’.

Now, if all of the festivities have become a little too much over the last few days and you’re planning a bit of a time out from it all, ‘Chill Cuts Vol. 2’ will make your time of relaxation even more enjoyable. 10 tracks have been handpicked from the selection of lush downtempo gems and smooth grooves that have been released on the label over the years from artists such as Tall Black Guy, JKriv, Kan Sano, Caserta and more. So, wash away the stress by simply getting comfy and pressing play and when it is time to get back up and get stuff done, you’ve got the rest of the music Razor-N-Tape has to offer to get stuck into, what a deal!

About the Author

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
