Scour Records – Freemixed Nuts Vol 05

Just before Christmas, one our very favourite labels, Scour Records, celebrated it’s 5th birthday. As many of you will know, this is a label that does not do things by halves, it’s one that puts in the hard yards to bring us the best party flavoured beats for us all to enjoy and after checking out their birthday offering ‘Freemixed Nuts Vol 05’, it sounds like they’ve gone above and beyond on this one!

In total there’s 12 free tracks up for grabs and once you’ve hit that play button to get things rolling “want, need, want, need” will be just a couple of words that’ll be putting themselves to the forefront of your mind, along with wow, amazing, sick and other words to that effect. This is because the music you’re about to receive comes from a star-studded lineup of producers, many of whom are no strangers to LSM themselves. Tuxedo Junction, Crash Party, Kibosh, WBBL, Lack Jemmon, X-Ray Ted, Hong Kong Ping Pong & Skeewiff, Cockney Nutjob, General News, Extra Medium, Mr Stabalina and Hiphoppapotamus & Father Funk, all bring us a juicy prime cut that’s gonna sizzle hard when it hits the dance floor. There’s stacks of Funk, a dash of Swing and a twist of D n B to be found on an album that just keeps getting better with every listen!

With New Year’s parties on the horizon, ‘Freemixed Nuts Vol 05’ needs to be making it’s way into your music collection pronto!

About the Author

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
