‘Scuse Me Miss (Aroop Roy Edit)

Aroop Roy has really made a name for himself in the 10 years he’s been making music. His sound that incorporates the organic elements of Jazz, Afro, Latin and Funk with the deep electronic edge of House and Techno, has had him play at tropical parties, jazz nights and House and Techno clubs around the world and he was even invited by, Gilles Peterson, to do a guestmix for his worldwide radio show.

Aroop Roy’s sound is super accomplished and there’s no better way to experience that than pressing play on this diamond Disco edit of ‘Scuse Me Miss’ by, George Duke. Within in the first 10 seconds, you can already tell you’re off on a magic carpet ride and as sure as night follows day, all the funky elements align and deliver a track that’s oozing masses style and swagger. Don’t even try to sit still to this, feel the groove and just go with it!

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
