Shaka Loves You – Loose Joints 004

Shaka Loves You have turned up with the goods just like they always do and present us with another 2 must-have edits on Loose Joints 004. Opening with a percussive and brass-laden Afro Funk edit of Bra by Cymande, the duo follow with another heavy hit of brass in their boogie powered Disco edit of Set Me Free by Karen Silver. The movers and groovers amongst you will dig these beauties we’re very sure!

Just in case you’ve not been keeping tabs on what SLY have been up to of late, you’ll be very happy to hear that they have announced the release of a new album they have coming out on Bombstrikes on the 27th of this month. Joints n’ Jams Vol. 1 is their new album and if you’ve ever listened to their radio show or if you’ve been to their night that both carry the same name, you’ll know that the Hip Hop, Funk and Disco found on it will be of the highest grade possible and by some of the most talented artists from those scenes, so it goes without saying that this is an album to get really excited about!

Should you decide to pre-order a copy, you’ll get a Brucie bonus in the form of this Disco rocket that was recently premiered by Le Visiteur:

About the Author

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
