Shambhala Music Festival has been asking playing artists to feature in its festival warmup mix series this year and with many of them, of course, saying “yes”, it’s now the turn of Father Funk to give you a glimpse into how things are gonna go down when he steps up to play on his favourite stage in the world, Fractal Forest. Holding back many of his best weapons for his set so as not to give the game away too soon, Father Funk has mirrored the exact flavour of what’s to come by handpicking some of his favourite tracks from his sets at Shambhala. With a wide variation in styles including Funk, Disco, Glitch Hop and House to name just a few, the one thing you can always from a Father Funk mix or live set is bass and there’s more than enough of that to go around here!
