Skeleton Army- Catchy Schisms

Skeleton Army is back with more breathtaking House & Broken Beats in the form of the ‘Catchy Schisms’ EP on Killer Smile

Skeleton Army aka John Morrow, part of legendary oldskool hardcore/jungle/DnB outfit, Foul Play returns with an incredible new four track release. ‘Catchy Schisms’ is a playful, melodic excursion into broken beats with sweeping subs, graceful organs and blissful bleeps. ‘Bedlam Jennie’ heads East for a punchy musical sojourn through the early morning desert. The laidback beats punctuate a deep hazy soundscape like the rays of the sun hitting your face. To paraphrase the fictional Agent Dale Cooper of Twin Peaks, this is a track both wonderful and strange with a sweet melancholy.

‘Dynamite Revolution’ is a 4×4 House groover in the inimitable Skeleton Army style, deep, rich and captivating in a way that hooks the ears from the start and doesn’t let go. This takes us to ‘Touch’, a track that really feels like the return of Foul Play with all the ethereal beauty of the sound they helped to pioneer. If you’re into the sounds of labels like Sneaker Social Club and artists like 2 Bad Mice & Paul Woolford in his Special Request alias, this track will hit a very special note with you. This track is goosebumps, it’s stunning in every way. A slowed down inteligent jungle roller with soul filled vocals and powerful emotive chords that has to be heard.
