‘Rare Grooves Vol.2’ is the second instalment of one of Sonic Funk Foundry‘s many EP series where he flips well-known and lesser-known classics with a funky theme from way back in the day. As the title of his new EP suggests, this one’s all about Rare Grooves and what a couple of beauties he’s uncovered to put his magic touch too. The first track to be found is a dusty and downtempo Breakbeat edit of Incantations psych-rock track ‘Raising The Dead’ and the second is a much more uptempo Funk rework Marie Franklin‘s ‘Bad Bad Woman’ that’ll bring fever to the floor! One for the party and one for afters is always a great deal to get involved in.
