Sonic Funk Foundry‘s ‘Reworked’ EP series continues to go from strength to strength and on volume 14 comes another two really solid reworks of a couple of stone-cold classics. The first of the reworks sees him take on Curtis Mayfield‘s ‘Underground’ and while he retains the 70’s psychedelic vibe, the dusty 4/4 makeover puts enough energy in the tank for the funky foot shufflers out there. James Brown‘s Funk classic ‘Slaughter Theme’ is next in line for a Sonic Funk 4/4 workout, except this time there’s more of a bite to the beats which means the funky shufflers will soon get there funky stomp on!
