Sonic Funk Foundry – Soul Edits Vol.1

With so many EP series on the go, it’s hard to keep up with what Sonic Funk Foundry has going on, but what we can tell you is that there is a whole lot Funk goin’ on with healthy hits of Latin, Afro, Disco and now in the start of a brand new series, Soul too!

Soul Edits Vol.1 serves up 3 tracks that will rid the mind of the chaotic times we’re experiencing and put you firmly in a good place while you get a good dose of Soul fever. Kicking off with a punchy and groovin’ edit of Stevie Wonder’s all-time classic Superstition, he keeps the high-energy and all-time classics theme going with a spirit-raising Funky Breaks spin of Respect by Aretha Franklin and a spaced-out ’60s boogie-driven edit of The Party by Henry Mancini. Good times are here to be had!

About the Author

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
