SR tears out of the gate with the enormous Hardcore Jungle/Techstep/Drumfunk banger ‘A To The Z.’ ‘Rubber Neck’ rasps with angry riffs late 90s Metalheadz style drums. The title track is a ruffneck DnB tribute to early 90s ‘ardcore sounding something like Shut Up & Dance at 170BPM.
‘LSD User’ sets out to fry brains with crunchy filtered breaks and brutal sub frequencies. ‘Clockwise’ with Vinyl Junkie mixes a bit of R&B and Hip Hop into the heavy onslaught of breakbeat science. ‘Solitaire’ explores the late 90s fusion of ambient/melodic strings and complex, rolling beats. ‘Deepest Soul’ with Section captures the claustrophobic style of golden era Doc Scott, Ed Rush et al.
‘Magna Carta’ dips back into the Hardcore Jungle with psychotic stabs and a hyper speed funky drummer. ‘You Understand Me’ with Fyne burrows deep into the darkest recesses of the mind with insane and insanely good drums.
‘Summer Flow’ breaks up the pounding beats with a lush mellow drop but the hoovers soon kick in for an angry summer! ‘Out There’ hammers it home with a mixture of the dark, the tripped out and the intense! LP of the year contender without a shred of a doubt!
