I may have mentioned once or twice before, that the Shambhala Festival is one that keeps on giving due to the amount of live mixes that were recorded for us all to enjoy in the here and now and we’ve yet another to bring you, this time from the dons of Breaks and Bass, the Stanton Warriors.
Some of you may well have heard that Shambhala nearly didn’t happen because of a serious threat of forest fires shutting the festival down. What was needed pretty urgently was rain and you know what, the Stanton’s made themselves known as ‘the rainmakers’ as it did just that as they got stuck into their set on the Fractal Forest stage. Now having a tag like that here in the UK would not endear themselves to many festival goers, but for those in attendance at Shambhala, it was an absolute godsend! Not only did Dom and Mark seemingly unlock the heavens so that the rain poured down, but they also made sure that a high grade selection of Breaks and Bass rained down on the soggy but ecstatic crowd. Everyone in attendance loved the set and we’re very sure that anyone who comes into contact with it will feel the same. Volume up, press play and dance!
