Sunny & Deck Hussy-Dance Into The Sunset [Kniteforce White]

Kniteforce regulars, Sunny & Deck Hussy invite us to ‘Dance Into The Sunset’ and kindly supply their own soundtrack of Ravey bangers from oldskool 92 style ‘ardcore to early Happy Hardcore!!!

‘X-Panded’ lights it up with bouncey beats and scratch samples. The power rave stabs are as expansive as the title suggests riding roughshod over stompy amens before a charge of 91-esque piano euphoria. ‘Building Shaker’ bulldozes its way into the building with chunky 1993 darkcore beats, angry, rapid hoovers and ‘Camargue’ riffs . The mid section switches into a Reggae riff plus a ton of well known rave vocals in the style of releases on the Hectic label between 93 to 94.

‘Wanna Go Back’ is a sunny 92 style tune with modern vocals, ‘it takes two’ breaks and nostalgic rave M1 keys. Here at LSM we reckon this one has major crossover appeal. ‘Afternoon Tea’ leans more in the Dark/Techno influenced direct of the Hardcore continuum with contrasting dark riffs and ethereal, optimistic keys set to a sped up Commodores ‘Assembly Line’ break.

‘Symphony’ is the kind of tune you should play on the 31st October with eerie John Carpenter sounds and grizzly hoovers all with a bit of tongue in cheek fun. ‘Have It All’ revisits Vibes & Wishdokta circa 95 replacing the R&B style mid sections with a more modern vocal and star gazing pianos.

‘They Can’t Cope’ is the second of two tunes on this EP that could really crossover what with the renewed interest in 90s rave prevalent in a lot of today’s electronic dance music (not EDM!). It’s pure 92 all the way with the SL2 break and a plethora of authentic 90s rave sounds with the potential to propel this track into a chart position. ‘Genesis’ close the EP with some 1994 style breakbeat hardcore action, DJ Seduction inspired stabs and Ramos & Supreme hands aloft piano. Due for imminent release on ltd edition vinyl plus 8 downloadable tracks (with the vinyl) in the 1st week and 4 in the 2nd so be quick!!!!
