Sunshine Productions-I Don’t Want Your Love EP

Kniteforce serves the oldskool community with freshly remastered previously unreleased rave gems from Sunshine Productions!

This is a previously unreleased Sunshine Productions EP and it is quite the time capsule for an experimental phase in the Hardcore/Jungle continuum.

The title track is like the meeting point between two eras of Breakbeat Hardcore with Belgian Hoovers and chunky 92 era breaks mixed up with bouncey kicks and amen breaks. The flipside is the deep Detroit synths and early jungle stylings of the ‘I Don’t Need Your Love’ vocalised drops. If I was a guessing man, I would place the creation of this track somewhere in 1993 and I could just hear it in one of Slipmatt’s Darkside/Happy sets from that period.

‘800’ could be a tune from the early days of Kniteforce itself, a deep excursion into melodic Hardcore Jungle with haunting vocal cuts and soaring strings that predate the intelligent Jungle era.

‘Dancing Thru The Night’ edges into early 1994 with even more of a Jungle influence. The sci fi drones similar to those in D Stomp ‘Noise Of Art’ give the track a real experimental tone and the melodic strings make this track really stand out in light of the more traditional ‘happy piano’ style of Breakbeat Hardcore. This is a great end of set tune to send the ravers home on a high.

KJAL02 is due for a vinyl release tbc August 2020. Check the Kniteforce Revolution site regularly as this will sell like hot cakes!
