The Allergies – As We Do Our Thing (Album)

The Allergies have been on fire for quite some time now and it’s clear that nothing can extinguish their love and passion for Funk. Rackabeat and DJ Moneyshot, who make up, The Allergies, are on a full blown mission to bring the old skool sampled Funk and vintage sounds back into the lives of as many people as they can and use it to connect with revelers on today’s dance-floors. One of the ways they have chosen to do this is by releasing their incredible and eagerly anticipated debut album ‘As We Do Our Thing’.

On their 16 track album, you’ll find a melting pot of Funk, Soul, Disco, Hip-Hop and Breaks that offer a continuous stream of feel good vibes from top to tale. As well as the superb sampled funkiness mentioned above, The Allergies have teamed up with some ace MC’s on the album with HypeMan Sage, BluRum13 and Andy Cooper of Long Beach’s world-renowned rap group, Ugly Duckling, all applying their lyrical skills in fine fashion. It’s an album the deserves your time and your energy which after the very last second, you’ll have bags of. Do what’s right and own what’s sure to be a future classic album.

About the Author

: I'm Sid, a dude from Lincolnshire. I'll be bringing you music from the perspective of the dance floor, the place I love to be most! I've no production or DJ experience, but I do know a bloody good tune when I hear one and if I connect with it, I'll share it in the hope you connect with it to. Selection and connection is the name of the game.
