The Allergies – Keep It Moving EP

As The Allergies are due to announce dates for their upcoming tour very soon, we thought we’d share their new EP with you just in case you’re in any doubts as to the flavour of Funk you’ll be receiving when you snap up those tickets and head to their shows.

‘Keep It Moving’ is the title of their new EP and the title track of it is the opener and it’s also a track off their huge 2018 LP ‘Steal The Show’. Soulful beats are matched with a positive message delivered by Welsh MC Skunkadelic on a track that has a good old fashioned Hip Hop feel to it. If you own a copy of The Allergies last LP, you’ll also recognise the next two tracks ‘When The Heat Comes’ feat. ASM and ‘Run It Back’ feat. Andy Cooper. Both tracks now come remixed with The Allergies provide an even funkier twist to their own tune ‘When The Heat Comes’, while one of the UK’s finest Funk exponents Smoove, cranks up the broken beats on his take of ‘Run It Back’ and reports are it’s doing the business on the floor already! The final track on the EP is another remix from The Allergies themselves as they bring their Reggae influences to the fore with a sunshine-filled spin on their classic jam ‘Entitled To That’.

Keep your eyes peeled if you live in a town or city that has venues that dig the Funk, because these guys may well be inviting you to join them for one big party anytime soon.
