Try Unity are back to top off 2017 with two dreamy melodic cuts of vocal Breakbeat Hardcore!
Following on from a string of spectacular Nuskool Breakbeat Hardcore EPs, Try Unity are back with a deeper more reflective take on the sound. Starting with ‘Time To Believe’, a thoughtful yet still bangin’ slice of deep rave with a warm undercurrent and shades of the late 94 sound of DJ Seduction’s Impact label or the Baby D album for example.
‘Energy Impact’ glows with a beautiful ambience and its hard not to make the Baby D comparison a second time in this blog review. With these tracks, Try Unity take the path less trodden in rave music. Back in the 90s, very few artists explored the potential for making proper fully blown songs within the Hardcore/Jungle genre. But on the few occasions it has been done, the results were always nothing short of breathtaking and so is ‘Time To Believe’ & ‘Energy Impact’, two tracks that can be added to that list of vocal rave classics.
