Cuttin’ It Fine is back with the intent to further lift the mood of the nation after the recent lifting of restrictions here in the UK with volume 4 of its always on-point ‘Freshly Dipped’ EP series.
Just like the previous three volumes, this current one contains 4 free tracks that all deliver a punch of funk that’ll leave you seeing stars! Getting this edition underway is Towlie DJ who expertly combines the brass and guitars of Average White Band‘s ‘Pick Up The Pieces’ with the slick rhymes of Jurassic 5‘s ‘High Fidelity’ and finishes it all off with the smack of some chunky broken beats. Label boss Roast Beatz follows on he too has a hard-hitting midtempo Breaks jam on his hands that this time brings together The JB’s and Jay Z for one hell of a party! Not to be outdone by the weight of the beats laid down already, Crash Party live up to their name and come wading in with a high-flyin’ remix of an Aussie classic ‘Front Row’ while Frankee More brings down the intensity with a chilled yet deliciously bassy rework of Dr Dre‘s ‘Kush’ to complete what we’re sure will be another hugely popular volume of the ‘Freshly Dipped’ series.
