V/A – Xpress Edits Vol.1 (The Disco Express)

It’s all aboard the Disco train right now as the London based imprint The Disco Express is ready to roll out with its free 4 track EP soundtracking what will be an eventful and exciting journey.

Xpress Edits Vol.1 is The Disco Express’ new EP which features a trio of its favourite producers from the scene and a track from the labels bossman Bustin’ Loose. With all producers having bases in London, it’s Pete Maxey (The B Side Tribe) who kicks things off in fine style with an incredibly catchy and boogie driven rework of Darlin’ Darlin’ by The O’Jays. Bustin’ Loose follows and invites you to turn the lights down low and get fully-acquainted with his seductively smooth spin on Vacance Union by Ramon Pyrme. Next up is Italian producer Davide Del Vecchio and he too has decided to keep the cool vibes flowing with a sublime and string-laden 4/4 re-edit of Walk The Way You Talk by Dionne Warwick. For the finale, Hector Zeroni picks up the tempo and energy with his dancefloor-filling makeover of Starlette by The Brooklyn, Bronx & Queens Band.

There’s lots of quality music to be discovered by all parties involved so after a little dig, there’s an excellent chance you’re gonna come up trumps.
