VINYL JUNKIE – TIGER STYLE

I am junglist, hear me roar!!! Vinyl Junkie’s new EP hit’s like a Sagat tiger uppercut!

One does not simply make a banger, it takes the experience and attention to detail that you get in a Vinyl Junkie tune. As the Ghetto Dub label fast approaches its’ milestone 50th release, Vinyl drops a killer EP of DnB/Jungle bangers like the title track where Kung Fu cinema and the sound of the far east meets crisp beats and laters of gnarly bass! ‘Let Off’ blends soundsytem call and response vocals with with dubby FX, deep subs, oriental strings and high frequency bass shards. ‘Wassup Now’ takes a sprinkling of golden era Hip Hop and chains it to a rampant slice of golden era influenced DnB with spine chilling drops. ‘Barefoot Junglist’ is a fine update on the Bristol/Midlands DnB sound a la Krust, Die, Mampi Swift with wobs that will put your speakers out of shape!
