#TBT 43 – Wu-Tang Clan – Gravel Pit (Quinten 909 Remix)

This week we’re throwing back a year with a remix of a track that’s fifteen years old, Wu-Tang Clan‘s ‘ Gravel Pit ‘ and yes, you heard right, fifteen years old! The remix comes from a well established dj/ producer from the Netherlands, Quinten 909. Regularly playing in the clubs of his home land, his multi genre sets have set him apart which has seen him take his sound to the international circuit. He even has his own bi-monthly night at the, Chicago Social Club in Amsterdam, so if you happen to be in the area and see that ‘ Blockparty ‘ is going down be sure to pop along for a proper night out.

Quinten 909’s remix of ‘ Gravel Pit ‘ really gives everything away in relation to the music he makes. A slightly deep and percussive beginning eases you in to some pure upfront bass laden, booty shakin’ heavy House beats. It’s all about implanting that ‘ groove ‘ into his music and there’s plenty of that to be found here!
