Can’t make it to those glamorous Music Technology shows everyone keeps banging on about that look awesome, but cost a fortune? Look no further than the Analogue to Digital Music Expo 2014 hosted in the gorgeous Westcountry UK. I’ve attended A2D for several years now and can safely vouch for the validity of the £10 price tag…
Check out a video of last year’s event HERE
Analogue To Digital Music Expo 2014 part of Exeter’s Vibraphonic Festival is an exquisite annual event for audiophiles brought to the cultural heart of Devon by the Social Enterprise Sound Gallery CIC and supported by Exeter Phoenix Arts Centre
The A2D exhibitors are all high-profile musicians, producers, promoters and labels (Yamaha, Native Instruments, Time & Space to name a few….) who provide music industry seminars, talks, live demos, performances and master-classes at the event, so you’ll get first dibs on information about leading techniques and technologies in the industry today.
If you’re just starting out as a Musician, DJ, or Producer and you don’t know where to turn for help, this is a once a year chance to get the lowdown from experienced professionals rather than some random on youtube! Whether it’s about solving a software mystery, how best to mic your drums, acoustically treat your environment, or creating a whopping gert lush kick drum, then this one’s for you! It’s an absolute must if you’re a seasoned musician, DJ or Producer or you just want to catch great live performances, chat groove and network!
To close off the show at the after party (note tickets for this need to be purchased in addition to the day ticket) GRICE will be performing with special guests, songs from their stunning album “Propeller” in the Voodoo Lounge and a sneaky peep at what’s to come in their new album
A word from the organisers…
“….This year’s keynote speakers include Richard Barbieri who has been the keyboard/
synthesizer player for the last 12 years with Porcupine Tree, that has now developed into a successful touring band with major label releases and a worldwide profile. The panel will welcome back Ville Leppanen from Animal Farm (recording studio, artist management, label, booking agency and publishing company) and will be chaired by Nick Tarbitt from indie record label Integrity Records.”
